About the event
The Black Earth Urban Ag Hub presents our inaugural summer community film screening and conversation series: Black Earth, City Roots. This screening is in partnership with Two Locals Brewing. It will feature several documentaries highlighting urban agriculture in Philadelphia and Black agrarian futures as a whole. They will highlight the diverse legacies of resilience in Philadelphia, while facilitating critical dialogue about its place at the nexus of urban & rural agriculture, bringing to life a vision of a future where food producers and community members alike reclaim their place at the center of their local food system.
